Before that, Bernard worked at the News-Press & Gazette Company in St. Joseph, Missouri as a weekday morning meteorologist and co-anchor from June 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, she worked at KSNT TV in Topeka, Kansas as a weekend morning meteorologist from February 2016 to June 2016.
