While he was growing up, he did not want to be a meteorologist but the wacky Arkansas weather made him gain interest in weather. In addition, while he was young, he was on March 1, 1997, and January 21, 1999, horrific tornado outbreaks and he can recall them like they were yesterday. Pat also spent almost every tornado and severe thunderstorm warning underground in his family’s backyard storm cellar.
Furthermore, he has worked at stations in Davenport, Iowa, Lawton, Oklahoma, San Angelo, Texas, and Columbus, Mississippi however, is more than happy to be working in his native home. The National Weather Association gave him their Broadcaster Seal of Approval and he is also the winner of the Weather Broadcast of the Year from the Oklahoma Broadcaster’s Association. Together with his family, they are members of the Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
