Bucka spoke to the group seen protecting an officer and protestors when social justice protests broke out following Brianna Taylor’s death.
She realized there was a bigger need in the community for stories to be told in a different way when she began working at a local station. Pursuing a passion project inspired by the pandemic and her own life events Bucka created a mental health podcast.
