Since he joined CNN, he has managed to cover quite a number of natural disasters in recorded history. During his tenure in California, he was nominated for a regional Emmy for being an outstanding weather anchor. Before that, he worked at a local station in the state of Utah where he served as a chief meteorologist. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
