After anchoring, she worked in the field doing many live shots for the next 36 hours. Tiede did a wall-to-wall coverage of the fatal tornado in Nashville which earned her an Emmy Award. She also reported on the return to Middle Tennessee of NASCAR.
Prior to joining FOX 17, Tiede worked at KDRV NewsWatch 12 in Medford, Oregon as an Anchor, Multimedia Journalist, and Producer from May 2017 to June 2019. While at the station, she reported on breaking news and/or anchored and produced them, covering some devastating wildfires like the CampFire in Paradise, California, Delta Fire, Chetco Bar Fire, and Klamathon Fire. While she was working as a multimedia journalist, she traveled to Paradise and spent some days reporting live and solo on the destruction of the Campfire.
Before joining KDRV, Tiede worked as a Senior Multimedia Anchor and Reporter at TCU 360 in Fort Worth, Texas from January 2017 to May 2017. She also worked as a news intern at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota from May 2016 to August 2016. Prior to that, she worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer at TCU News Now in Dallas, Fort Worth Area from January 2016 to May 2016.
