The year 1997 saw him move to El Paso where he was anchoring the weekend sports at the KDBC-TV. He was privileged to have been promoted to the role of sports director and stayed in El Paso for over five years. This was before moving to FOX 10 News in April 2003.
He is actively involved in Arizona charity work which includes the Mentorship program of the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. Additionally, he has also served The Champions for the Homeless with The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul.
