Since joining KTVN-TV, Ryan has continually moved up the ranks. Additionally, he has served as a full-time weekend video journalist, a weekday general assignment reporter, and a weekend anchor/reporter. Ryan is now anchoring the evening newscasts every weekday and producing the segment “Your 2 Cents” nightly at 4:25 and 6:55.
By becoming an anchor at KTVN, Canaday has been able to fulfill a longtime dream of his. Since he was a young man, he knew he wanted to be on the news. Now that he has earned his opportunity to show people the work he can do, he only intends to move forward in his career. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves being outdoors at Lake Tahoe. Among his greatest role models are his parents and grandparents.
