Field served as host for various shows that included the “MLB WhipAround”, “FOX Sports Live”, ” and the”MLB on FOX” programs. Previously, Field worked as a correspondent for FOX Sports Detroit where he hosted coverages on the Tigers and Red Wings coverage, and Pistons from the year 2003 to the year 2013.
Field began his career as producer/reporter with FOX affiliate WJBK-TV in Detroit and later as a sports director at FOX affiliate WSYM-TV in Lansing back then in Michigan. His sports coverage won him various awards including “Best Sports Anchor” in 2009 & 2012 and his seven Michigan EMMY Awards.
Throughout his career Field has won several awards including the Michigan Emmy in the year 2006 Sports News Feature category. This was after he showed concern for the defenseman Jiri Fischer of Detroit Red Wings who had collapsed due to a stroke that was caused by his heart ailment condition during a game. Later in the year, 2009 Field was awarded his first Emmy for being the Best Sports Anchor in the year. He currently owns seven Michigan Emmys that were accorded to his credit.
