Wooley works at NEWSnet where he serves as a Midday Sports Anchor. He is responsible for anchoring four, five-minute sportscasts that air from 9 am to 7 pm Monday-Friday on a loop. Additionally, Ryan is responsible for scripts, cutting highlights, building graphics, sourcing material, and producing shows. He also anchors a sports show for Sports News Highlights from 2 p.m. until 1 a.m. throughout the week. Prior to joining NEWSnet, he worked at 93.5 WHMI, based in Howell, Michigan, as a Freelancing Sports Anchor.
Ryan has owned Mammoth Entertainment, LLC, based in New Hudson, Michigan, and served as a Professional DJ, since June 2008. Additionally, he has been Master of Ceremonies for all events like weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and many others. Previously, he was tenured at ESPN as a Play-By-Play Anchor for Eastern Michigan University Basketball on ESPN+ and ESPN3. He was the Lead anchor for men’s and women’s basketball for Eastern Michigan University, while there. Additionally, he was responsible for chart creation, notes, and delivering the play-by-play for 30 games a season.
