Before coming to WABC-TV she worked as a weekend anchor at WSB-TV in Atlanta, another dominant ABC affiliate for 9 years. Previously she served in both KFDM-TV in Beaumont, Texas, and WRAL-TV in Raleigh as the weekend anchor.
Prior to working at KFDM-TV and WRAL-TV, she was an Olympic reporter for 7years.
