Since he started his journalism career, he has won several awards and honors including several awards from the Associated Press, South Carolina Broadcasters Association, and Radio-Television-Digital News Association of the Carolinas. In 2017 and 2019, he was named the National Sports Media Association’s S.C. Sportscaster of the Year. In 2011, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, Eisberg was voted by readers of the Charleston City Paper as the Best Sportscaster in the Lowcountry.
