Parveen commenced her on-air meteorology profession at WCTV in Tallahassee right out of college, then shifted on to be the meteorologist for Fox13 in Tampa. After having consumed her entire life in the sunshine state of Florida, she wanted a change. In 2012 Sheena shifted north to NBC10 in Philadelphia as their weekday evening meteorologist where she lived for the next five years. Being an avid lover of water hobbies that weren’t easy to come by in Philadelphia she instructed a paddleboard from San Diego and had it shipped throughout the country which she considers the “best decision ever.” After those 5 years, Sheena opted to move to NBC4 in Washington, DC where she quickly learned how to adjust to a morning schedule prior to coming to San Diego.
She is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, having earned her CBM seal from the American Meteorological Society. Shelter animals are near and dear to her heart, as are all animals.
