From May 2019 to September 2023, Williams worked at WPDE-TV as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter.
Since joining WPDE-TV, Williams has covered everything from tropical storms and hurricanes to years of breaking news and the rapid changes across the region. Before joining WPDE, Williams spent 2 years as a Morning News Reporter at KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas (from June 2017 to May 2019). During his time there, Williams reported on major national stories like the United States Senate race between Beto O’Rourke and Ted Cruz, the construction of the border wall, immigration issues, and children being housed in tent facilities. His work along the United States/Mexico border gave him strong experience covering complex and high-profile topics.
While in college, Williams also worked in different roles. From August 2014 to May 2017, he held a position with RPS at the university for nearly 3 years. Also, Williams gained customer service experience at Sol Spa Tanning (from March 2016 to July 2016). In addition, Williams worked as a server at Bob Evans Farms, Inc. (from May 2014 to August 2015) – there he helped out during winter, summer, and spring breaks when he returned home.
