He developed his love and passion for weather at a very young age. While growing up, the only thing he remembers is wanting to become a weatherman. This was after he experienced the May 3rd, 1999 Oklahoma tornado outbreak first-hand. He became completely reassured that he wanted to understand the weather better and assist in keeping others informed.
Upon college graduation, he moved to Denison, TX to start his meteorology and work for KTEN. While there, he served as a Morning Meteorologist for four years. In addition, he covered the historic floods that brought the drought to an end, the multi-year Oklahoma/Texas drought, multiple crippling winter storms, as well as severe weather outbreaks. He has also experienced the full range of crazy Southern Plains weather.
He is a true Okie who loves Tulsa and the beautiful Green Country area, and hopes he can be another integral member of the News On 6 WARN team that you can rely on!
He is thrilled to be back in Oklahoma and can chase and report wild weather in one of the best weather markets. During his leisure time, he loves exploring new areas, basketball, and enjoys golfing. In addition, he loves talking sports almost as much as talking weather and he is a big sports fanatic.
