Before that, she worked in both television and radio and got the opportunity to co-host early mornings with Murphy in the Morning at WIXX radio. Prior to that, she worked at CBS station in Green Bay where she started her career in 1992 as an evening anchor, anchoring the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Elliott’s reports have earned her numerous honors from the Associated Press, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, and Milwaukee Press Club. She has also been honored with 2 of broadcasting’s most prestigious honors, the Edward R. Murrow Award and the International Peabody Award. In 2008, the International Association of Fire Fighters awarded her national recognition for an investigation she carried out, of Green Bay firefighter Arnie Wolff. She has followed the Packers to the Super Bowl, spent a week in Rome with New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan, and co-hosted with Regis Philbin for one day. She then went back to report live from Vatican City one week after the death of Pope John Paul II.
