During his time there, he provided forecasts to various radio stations across the Mid-South. Prior to working at Weather Radio Network, Todd worked at WFTV as a Daybreak Weather. During his time there, he was anchoring overnight news and weather and also helped produce a morning show.
Since he was young and growing up, he has always had an interest in the weather. He began his broadcasting career while he was a senior in high school and was also working at a number of radio stations in Jacksonville. While he was attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Demers worked at more radio stations for a short time at Walt Disney World. Todd is proud to be living on a few acres of land in DeSoto County also known as “out of the country.”
During his free time, Demers enjoys swimming, visiting the Great Smokey Mountains in the fall, and going to the park. He also states that what he loves most about the Mid-South is the parks along with the ability to get away from it all but not having to travel too far to do that. In all the festivals in the Mid-South, he says he has to admit in Memphis in May he has always had a special in his heart with the Barbecue festival taking center stage.
