Sardarov appeared in the American police procedural crime drama TV series The Rookie: Feds which is a spin-off of The Rookie which aired in 2022. He plays in the role of Trevor Gurin. Trevor is discovered as the suspect of the break in at the house of the professor which is investigated by Harper and Lopez with the help of Simone. They find out that Trevor is also the suspect of the bombing, he has a secret connection to Groom Lake and that he was former military. He goes ahead and steals bombs from the weapon storage of the National Guard and executes his plan to bomb the city’s infrastructure beginning with the roads.

Sardarov played the role of Brian Zvonecek in the television series Chicago Fire which aired in 2012.Brian was a firefighter working with the Chicago Fire Department and was also the driver of Truck 81. He was assigned at Firehouse 51 for almost his whole career and was one of the co-owners of Molly’s. He was born and raised in the United States by a Russian immigrant family. According to his supervisors, Brian lacked motivation and this is as a result of feeling under-appreciated by his colleagues.
He wanted to be a Truck 81 engineer and this made him consider shifting to Truck 67 at Morningside but he stayed at Firehouse 51. After the transfer of Joe Cruz to Squad 3, Brian was made engineer of Truck 81. In an episode on the show, Brian is diagnosed with ITP. In the second season, Brian is in a relationship with Katie Nolan until she leaves following her kidnapping. Brian was murdered in the line of duty. He succumbed to his injuries and at the time of his death he was dating Lily.

In an interview with TV Insider held in 2019, Haas said that it had to be a core cast member that viewers would not expect. He added that Yuri affected fans and everyone else in the house. In addition to that, he said that the reason behind killing Brian was because they had pulled the ball so many times when someone was in danger and then saved. Haas continued by saying that viewers needed to understand that these are dangerous calls and in some cases people don’t make it.
