Nava has volunteered with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and their Race for the Cure, the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, among others. She loves mentoring young girls with GenAustin as she recalls how impressionable she was at that age. She firmly believes that it is important for young girls to know that they are in control of their destiny, which also includes their overall joy.
