He joined the station in January 2021 when he started as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist till April 2022 before moving to the weekend anchor and reporter role. Prior to joining the station, Solon worked as a reporter and news anchor at Capital News Service in Washington DC-Baltimore from August 2020 to December 2020. His duties at the station included researching, shooting, and editing packages for air. He also anchored the Spectrum Cable live broadcast in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.
