Yasmine came to the station in 2021 as a part-time assignment and digital editor before being promoted to a full-time job in early 2022. Before joining WPBF 25 News team, she served as a promotions coordinator and sales coordinator at WSVN Channel 7 in Miami, fulfilling her wish to learn the different roles of a news station and how all of the departments operate in tandem.

From 2016 to 2019, Yasmine oversaw a dual enrollment program in the South End of Boston at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (now known as Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology) as the assistant director of Boston Public Schools partnerships. Before that, she acted as a high school to a career counselor at the college, working with high school administrators and learners in the Greater Boston area.

Over her four years at the school, she forged relationships with city stakeholders, nonprofit organizations, and other community members to provide institute access to underserved youth, presenting them to high-demand STEM fields.

Yasmine also was the co-captain and captain of four-step teams from high school through post-college in Wellington, Florida, and the inner-city of Boston. She is engaged in ministry and credits her faith for her professional and personal growth, grace, and successes.
