In his half-decade working in Virginia’s largest media market, he led the relaunch of WTKR’s sports department. This is in addition to helping the team transform into an award-winning operation.

Prior to leaving the Texas area for Virginia in the year 2016, she was working for the KEYE-TV located in Austin and the KWTX-TV team located in Waco. He kick-started his career working with the KNOE-TV team located in Monroe, Louisiana, in the year 2004. The year 2015 saw him win Lone Star Emmy Award for On-Camera Talent for his role as a Sports Anchor and is one of 10 career Emmy nominations for Adam. He has also been honored with 19 Associated Press Broadcasters awards in Virginia, Texas, and Louisiana.
In his entire career, his award-winning coverage has featured everything from the College World Series to competitive tree climbs, and everything between. Additionally, he has also reported on Super Bowls XLVII, LI, LII, LIII, and LIV, multiple Final Fours. This is in addition to reporting on the longest basketball game in Big 12 history.
His memorable assignments however are not only limited to sports. He has also reported live from West Texas where he was reporting on the morning of April 18th, 2013 after the town’s deadly fertilizer plant explosion. This is, in addition, to extensively covering Hurricane Katrina in the year 2005. Additionally, he has also recently assisted the WTKR’s live coverage of the Virginia Beach mass shooting in May 2019.
