Additionally, she is overjoyed to silence her 3 a.m. alarm and return to South Florida. Where she can be near her family in Miami.
Aside from that, Cruz also worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at WCJB TV20 in Gainesville, Florida, from October 2018 to December 2019 before joining WCTI. Furthermore, she built relationships with the locals, found sources, conducted research, and started stories while she was there. Additionally, for up to five distinct live daily broadcasts, shoots, writes, edits, teases, and delivers several tales. The weekend broadcasts at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. are annotated and co-produced by her. In addition to that, Alexis also continued to host several charitable and station-sponsored events in her capacity as a WCJB ambassador. She hosts and creates a technology and culinary section each week.
