Series judges Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Michelle Visage came back and Ts Madison, who before appeared as a recurring guest judge, joined the judge’s panel.
From last season’s premiere episode, the season premiere received 752,000 viewers, up almost 2 % which became the most-watched premiere since Season 10. For the fifteenth season of Drag Race on social media, RuPaul announced a casting call in November 2021.
