Prior to joining Great Falls, he spent five years at KXLY, the ABC station in Spokane, Washington. He was nominated for a Regional Emmy for his series on individuals using sports to overcome personal and physical obstacles.
Previously, Ben worked for WWSB in Sarasota, Florida where his family has lived since 2000, and this is one of the reasons he’s excited to make his return to Florida. Moreover, Kaplan spent 2 years serving as a News Anchor/Producer/Reporter at KFBB. During his time at the station, Ben co-anchored at 10 p.m. Newscast from Monday to Friday. Furthermore, he began his broadcast career at FOX Sports serving as a Production Assistant for 2 years.
