While attending the State University of New York, he was heavily involved with the school’s student-run television station WTOP-TV 10 where he served as an anchor, reporter, and play-by-play announcer for men’s and women’s ice hockey. He has also worked in the station as a vice president of operations and helped develop a plan to remotely produce and air newscasts, one of the only college stations to do so.
Ben enjoys giving back to his community and has spent five years with the Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company as a volunteer firefighter. His goal in working as a Multimedia Journalist is to tell the stories of people whose stories may not have been told otherwise.
