After being the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter since August 2014 he finally moved into the position of sports director. He joined the station as a Digital Media Producer. Previously before working at WKTV full-time, Spencer worked as a Sports Intern at the station for two summers.

While studying at Hofstra University, he was a staff member of 88.7FM WRHU, where he was a part of the sports department, providing play-by-play, color commentary, and beat reporting for various Hofstra Pride DI sports teams. Davidson was also a Feature Reporter for the New York Islanders of the NHL, despite his heavy allegiance to the Rangers.

While there Spencer interviewed some of the top players around the league, and within the Islanders’ locker room for air during Islanders’ game broadcasts on WRHU. During the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Pittsburgh Penguins, which were simulcasted on 98.7FM ESPN Radio New York, and WFAN 660AM, Spencer’s interviews were also aired. Davidson is a die-hard Yankees fan and loves the Knicks and Jets, the hometown Utica Comets.
