Brad is a self-described weather nut and knew since kindergarten that he wanted to be a meteorologist, and he’s very thrilled to be able to forecast the weather for the same area that he grew up in.
Brad is excited to be back in Wisconsin and is looking forward to everything about it. He enjoys all 4 seasons and is glad to be in a place where the weather is always changing. Prior to working at News 9 WAOW, Brad spent the last six years forecasting weather at a station in Grand Junction, Colorado. Prior to that, he served at a station in Rockford, Illinois. Nevertheless, he considers the Badger State home, as he was raised in the Northwoods.
Brad loves getting outside and exploring (especially during the summer, spring, and fall), and is always looking for new places to check out. Even though he was raised in Wisconsin, he loves to experience new things and see new places and knows that one of the great things about living in Wisconsin is that there’s always something new to check out. He also enjoys watching sports – but he was born in Illinois… so he is a big supporter of the Bears and the Cubs (don’t judge, he’s suffered enough!).
