Brian began his journalism career as a weekend anchor at KLSX(97.1 FM Talk) in Los Angeles. In 2002, he worked as a writer and producer on one of the on-air personalities of, ”The Film Freak Show”. In 2007 Loftus worked as a feature reporter at KMPH-TV(FOX) in Fresno.
After working at KMPH-TV(FOX), he then joined KLAS-TV where he served as an anchor and reporter. While at the station Brian anchored a daily segment called, ”What’s Driving You Crazy”, from 2009 to 2014 where he helped in solving traffic problems troubling viewers.
In 2017 Loftus received the NASB Media Award for Outstanding Education Reporting for ”What’s Cool at School”. He has also anchored and hosted the well- Known New Year’s Eve Countdown Show which is seen live in 12 cities. Brian received an Emmy in 2017 for special events coverage.
Brian has managed to interview several celebrities and politicians including Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Rascal Flatts, Sheriff Joe Lombardo, and Carlos Santana. He has also enclosed the Golden Knights in the 2018 Stanley Cup Final. During his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, biking, and hiking.
