Her second stop was in College Station where she operated at KBTX Media as a Sports Reporter. Chessa learned the Aggie way, but her connections to the SEC run deep. She joined Ole Miss for undergrad and during her duration in Oxford she was a Diamond Girl for the Ole Miss baseball team and aided with game day operations.
Chessa is happy to be from Bossier City, Louisiana, but adores the southern culture and the individuals in South Louisiana. Chessa holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from LSU. During her stint in Baton Rouge, she earned her internship at WAFB, which turned into her freelancing for Channel 9. While at LSU, Chessa covered everything.
