DeBoer and Chelsea were sued for $3 Million after withholding money made from promotions on social media. Envy claimed in the lawsuit that in 2015, the company had a contract with The William Gerard Group to offer consulting services to Chelsea and DeBoer. In return, they were to give a portion of revenue that would be made from deals. Their four children were also included in the contract. The court papers claim DeBoer and Chelsea did not not pay any of the contractually required fees. The couple was supposed to pay Envy 35 percent of all the fees or royalties for domestic deals and also forty percent for foreign deals.
