She also collaborated with fellow meteorologists, 5 local National Weather Service offices, emergency management, and the Department of Transportation to produce and streamline forecasts being sent out to the public along with improving communication strategies.
Before working at WZTV, she was a meteorologist at WPBN-TV Sinclair Broadcasting between August 2014 and March 2017. While at WPBN-TV, Colleen collaborated with 3 National Weather Service offices to prepare forecasts and streamline communication across the state.
