While at the station, he is in charge of making health reports on medical and health news for Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien and Anderson Cooper 360°. Additionally, he serves as the anchor of the weekend medical affairs program Sanjay Gupta, MD.  In addition to that, he also makes contributions to CNNHealth.com and CNN.com. Moreover, Dr. Sanjay made several medical reports covering healthcare reform, brain injury, disaster, and military medicine. Gupta also reported on the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that took place in Japan adding context and clarity to the human impact and radiation concerns.
