Eric Balfour is an American Actor and Singer well known for his appearance in the action-thriller TV series 24 where he took the role of Milo Pressman. He has also made appearances on Shattered Image in 1998, What Women Want in 2000, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 2003. Additionally, he is the lead singer of the band Fredalba.

He had some minor roles in the early 1990s in TV series including Boy Meets World, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,  Step by Step, and Arresting Behavior. He appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the first two episodes playing the role of Jesse McNally. In 2001, Balfour appeared in the HBO series Six Feet Under in the role of Gabriel Dimas. In 2005 he starred in Lie With Me, a sexually explicit Canadian drama, and in 2006, he appeared in Conviction, a crime drama that lasted one season, in the role of Brian Peluso.

Balfour appeared on the hit show Dawson’s Creek as a guest star in season one, episode nine. Alongside Jessica Biel, Balfour starred in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the year 2003. He played the role of Eddie, a minor character, in The O.C. in some episodes. In the thriller series 24, Balfour appeared in the role of computer technician Milo Pressman in seven episodes of season one in the year 2001. He then resumed the role after five years, in season six where he played for 19 episodes and then left the show at his request.

Balfour played the role of Eddie Carling in the television series Life on Mars, which aired from 2006 to 2007. In September 2009, he also appeared in the television series Monk in one episode. He booked a role in the drama show, The Beautiful Life, but it was canceled in December 2004. In 2010, he appeared in the thriller film Skyline playing the role of Jarrod. Balfour also appeared in the Syfy drama Haven playing the role of Duke Crocker. Balfour also appeared in the survival film Backcountry alongside Jeff Roop and Missy Peregrym.
