Later on, the year 2016 saw De Nova hosting Morning Edition with the Jefferson Public Radio where she became a United States citizen and voted for the first time in addition to running her first marathon.
Later, she made her way from the Cascades to the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, Arizona. There, she was able to become a bureau reporter for the NBC affiliate station, KPNX, where she later made a transfer to the station in Phoenix.
The year 2017 saw hi, in Las Vegas in order for her to cover the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival shooting and to Florida in order for her to report on Hurricane Irma. Away from work, she enjoys walking and running and is always looking for recommendations on a good place for a run or walk where a stroller and dogs are welcome.
