Prior to moving to Seattle John worked at FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) in the Greater San Diego Area where he served as a General Assignment Reporter from November 2010 to July 2012. From February 2009 to November 2010 before moving to San Diego, Langeler worked at KREM 2 Media Group in Spokane, Washington Area where he served as an anchor and reporter. He also worked as a Multimedia Journalist and fill-in anchor for KREM and Self-engineered live shots.
Before working at KREM 2 Media Group he worked at Morgan Murphy Media / KXLY still in Spokane, Washington Area as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter from June 2006 and November 2008.
