Schoenheider works for WMUR ABC 9 as a news anchor and reporter. Before that, he spent 5 years at WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois, where he worked as a producer and reporter (from October 2019 to January 2022), a news anchor and reporter (from January 2022 to March 2023), and a morning anchor (from March 2023 to September 2024).

His journalism journey began with a summer internship at WGN-TV in Chicago, IL from June of the year 2018 to August of the year 2018. Before entering broadcasting, he worked as a lifeguard manager at Forest Park Beach from May 2015 to August 2018 and as a caddy at Old Elm Golf Club from April 2011 to May 2015.

During his internship at WGN-TV, he worked as a producer for a new show led by Larry Potash. The show, called “Backstory”, takes viewers to different places to explore interesting stories from Chicago, IL and other parts of the country. This show is still on the air and keeps gaining more viewers with each season.
