Before joining this station, he spent over 4 years (from January 2018 to May 2022) as a weeknight news anchor at WMTW-TV in Portland, Maine. While at WMTW, Bottari worked with Arthur Villator (Chief Photojournalist) on a report about the serious climate challenges facing Maine’s lobster industry. Their work there was recognized with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
