Before joining this station, he spent over 4 years (from January 2018 to May 2022) as a weeknight news anchor at WMTW-TV in Portland, Maine. While at WMTW, Bottari worked with Arthur Villator (Chief Photojournalist) on a report about the serious climate challenges facing Maine’s lobster industry. Their work there was recognized with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
His career also includes 3 years (from December 2014 to January 2018) as a morning anchor and reporter at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City and 2 years (2012 – 2014) as a morning news anchor at WCAX-TV in Burlington, Vermont.
