Previously before moving to Las Vegas Jon worked at Kbak-Tv 29 CBS-News in Bakersfield, California, from August 2013 to January 2016. There he worked as a sports anchor and show co-host. While in the station he comprehensively covered high school and college sports in California’s historic Kern County. He was also responsible for the shooting, editing, producing, and writing.

Prior to Kbak-Tv 29 CBS-News, he worked at WACO High School in Waco, Texas There he served as a coach, teacher, and mentor from December 2012 to August 2013. He taught in a special education room with a focus on emotionally distressed students. He also coached football, and soccer and assisted with strength and conditioning programs.

Before moving to Waco Tritsch served as a sports anchor and host for KCEN in Waco, Texas, the United States from July 2012 to November 2012. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm” Jon applied the message to his entire life, but nothing draws the passion out more than sports. His focus has always been on becoming a sportscaster and after graduating college, he became an entry-level reporter in Lincoln covering the University of Nebraska sports but having to work the overnight shift at a grocery store to pay the bills.

Jon’s first anchoring position came in Sioux City, Iowa, where he developed a passion for storytelling and being involved in the community. Tritsch is proud of his Faith and loves history and traveling. He hopes to have a family and dog someday but is taking on responsibility gradually by starting with a house plant. Most of all, he wants to tell people’s stories and how sports have impacted their lives.
