Before joining WSB-TV,  in December 2015 after leaving Wish-TV she founded a foundation by the name ”She Dreams Foundation” in the Indianapolis, Indiana Area. Previously Lori worked in Indianapolis, at WISH-TV as an anchor and reporter from June 2013 to December 2016 and also in Philadelphia, and Shreveport, Louisiana. Wilson is a children’s book author and a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
