She graduated from the university in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and double minors in Broadcast Journalism and Mathematics. In addition to that, she has a passion for using ASL to communicate weather events to the DoHH community. In high school, Smith studied ASL for six years and she was looking forward to continually finding ways to grow and learn more to be the best ally she can be for the DoHH community. Furthermore, Smith has also worked for the Oklahoma Weather Lab as a Director. During her leisure time, she likes to read a good book, spend time with her 3 dogs; Sasha, Storm, and Tex, or try new restaurants across Green Country.
