Marza joined KSHB- TV in January 2005, whereby he was an anchor and a reporter. He was the newsroom leader, led in covering breaking news and enterprising, and launched the weekend morning newscast. He left the station in December 2009, then returned in May 2015.                                                                                                                                                While serving the station, he won two Emmy Awards consecutively for being the best anchor. He has covered live events which include; a mass shooting in a Kansas City manufacturing plant, President Trump’s three visits to Missouri, and pre -and- post-game shows for nationally televised games including the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium.                                                                                                                                                                                                              He also covered the championship parade and rally in KC in front of 800,000 fans, the 2016 Vice President Debate in Virginia, and the 2015 Kansas City Royals World Series run. Mike also interviewed tornado survivors in 2017, in the neighborhoods outside Kansas City. He also documented a hidden danger in a clothes dryer, a rise in children dying in hot cars, and bicycle theft.

Marza joined WSVN-TV He joined in June 2011 where he was an evening news anchor. He served news at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. On weekdays, he reported and cast news for the 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. broadcasts. While working at the station, he co-anchored; the shooting at the Sandy Elementary School and the Boston Marathon bombing. He reported on the Heat Championship Celebrations from Miami in 2012 and 2013 and also anchored the 2012 presidential election from Mitt Romney’s election watch party.
