He has covered three recent championship runs for the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco Giants.
In August 2000 he worked for WIBW in Topeka, Kansas, which was his first broadcast news. He then joined KVOA in Tucson in November of 2001. Then in March 2005, he relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area. There in the Bay Area, he likes hiking at Mt. Tamalpais in the morning and being down at the beach with his wife and two children in the afternoon.
For years, he has been a youth sports coach, and also coaches his two children and their teammates in soccer, baseball and basketball. He also likes hanging out and entertaining his friends while grilling in the backyard. Additionally, he enjoys golfing, running, and hiking. When his free, the vineyards in Napa and Sonoma are not too far away.
