Doney and his wife Sheleen are blessed to be parents to their adopted son by the name of Hudson. Sheleen and Doney were given a Saturday morning telling them that there was a baby who was born the previous night. The couple quickly rushed to the hospital and saw Hudson for the first time, twenty hours after he was born. They were sure and excited to adopt the baby. And could not wait to shower him with all the love, care, and support he needed.

Six months after he was born, Shellen noticed that he was quite behind in some of the things that a six-month-old infant did. She rushed Hudson to a pediatrician and later on went to see a neurosurgeon. Who ran some tests on him and finally diagnosed him with schizencephaly. schizencephaly is the second most rare brain disorder there is and he is probably missing about 30% of his brain.
