Patrick commenced his educational profession at McNeese State University. He also served as an officer for the Greek Unity Council, an MSU Peerleader, and a member/officer of McNeese State University Gospel Choir.
Prior to relocating to Memphis, he resided in Greensboro, NC where he worked as a doctoral candidate at Technical (NCA&T) State University and North Carolina Agricultural. During the course of his studies there he spent multiple summers interning with the Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Oceanic in Boulder, CO doing Numerical Weather Modeling. As a member of the curriculum, he also served as a teacher’s assistant and taught several physics and meteorology classes/labs.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being in the kitchen; making his world-famous Seafood Crawfish Etouffee’ and Gumbo. When he’s not chasing weather systems and cooking, he enjoys running, working out, and playing basketball—he’s not a bad spades partner either.
