Pete works at WMAR Baltimore as a Meteorologist. He looks forward to getting involved in society and bonding with locals over a couple of things that Louisianans and Marylanders have in common. Hailing from Lake Arthur, La, Patrick is no stranger to severe weather. In fact, his original love for meteorology was sparked at the age of eight when Hurricane Opal threatened to make landfall and forced his family to evacuate. Prior to joining WMAR Baltimore, he served at Fox 13  for three years in Memphis, TN.

Patrick commenced his educational profession at McNeese State University. He also served as an officer for the Greek Unity Council, an MSU Peerleader, and a member/officer of McNeese State University Gospel Choir.

Prior to relocating to Memphis, he resided in Greensboro, NC where he worked as a doctoral candidate at Technical (NCA&T) State University and North Carolina Agricultural. During the course of his studies there he consumed multiple summers interning with the  Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Oceanic in Boulder, CO doing Numerical Weather Modeling. As a member of the curriculum, he also served as a teacher’s assistant and taught several physics and meteorology classes/labs.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being in the kitchen; making his world-famous Seafood Crawfish Etouffee’ and Gumbo. When he’s not chasing weather systems and cooking, he enjoys running, working out, and playing basketball—he’s not a bad spades partner either.
