Where he guides the department’s broadcast meteorology minor program. In addition to that, he is also assisting Cal State East Bay in Hayward with meteorology-related courses.
Prior to joining NBC Bay Area, Rob worked at KIRO (CBS) in Seattle serving as a morning and weekend weather anchor. While at the station, he reported live for weather and environmental stories. Before that, he served as a weekend and morning weather anchor/reporter from July 1998 to December 2001. While at the station, he utilized the station’s own real-time Doppler radar to pinpoint severe weather. Additionally, he also anchored and reported on perceptions and Asian American issues program. Previously, Rob worked at KESQ (ABC) where he served as a morning weather anchor for 1 year. While there he researched and covered news feature stories. Moreover, he also provided fill-in news anchor and producer duties.
