Kelly says his favorite part of his current duties is the wide variety of things there are to cover in our area. From motocross in Cairo, to of course Seminole, Rattler, and Blazer football, every day brings something new, different, and exciting. Before joining WCTV, Ryan worked at 97.9 ESPN Radio serving as a radio talent for 2 years. While there he hosted 97.9 WTSM’s morning drive talk show Wake Up Warchant from 6 AM to 7 AM.
Prior to that, Ryan served as a director of Digital media at Warchant.com from July 2015 to January 2018. Moreover, he spent 10 months at WCTV as a photojournalist. Previously, he served as a chief sports reporter at WVFS Tallahassee from August 2012 to June 2015. Kelly came to WVFS from Florida State University where he served as a Seminole productions reporter for 1 year.
During his time there, he has been a staple on the FSU beat, covering Seminole athletics since the 2014 season. Before that, Ryan served as an intern at 97.9 ESPN Radio Tallahassee from May 2013 to January 2015. Additionally, he spent 5 months at Office Depot as a sales consultant. Furthermore, he began his career as a media assistant at Evangel Temple Assembly of God from May 2012 to August 2012.
