Lighthiser serves as the weekend meteorologist and weekday MMJ at KHQA-TV based in Quincy, Illinois. In this role, she is on air on Saturdays at 6 pm and 10 pm, Sundays at 5 pm and 10 pm as well as reporting 3 days a week. Prior to working at KHQA-TV, she worked at Carol Stream Park District where she served as a lead counselor. In this role, she managed field trips to Lincoln Park Zoo and made groups for the week to ensure camp went as effortlessly as possible.
