His dad is of German and English ancestry while his mother is of Swiss-German and German descent with remote French roots. Kinney has three siblings; Trent Kinney who has a wife named Alexa and during their wedding Kinney was their best man, Adam who works as the Senior Enterprise Solution Team Lead at Comcast Business and Sean who sadly passed away in September 2008. After his parents separated, Kinney and his brothers relocated to Neffsville, Pennsylvania with his mum while he was still young. His father passed away at the age of 71 on 26th October 2021.
