Prior to joining 12 News, Tram worked in Florida at CFN-13 out of the Volusia County bureau. She then relocated to Columbus, OH as a weekend anchor and a reporter at WSYX/ WTTE-TV for three years.  Prior to that,  Tram worked at WOFL, in Orlando, FL out of the Gainesville bureau as a reporter. She began her profession in 1995 as a production assistant at KABC in Los Angeles.

From the death of Senator John McCain to the hurricanes in Florida and Arizona’s historic ‘Red for Ed’ teacher walkout in Arizona, Tram has reported some of the largest stories of her time. She has also interviewed numerous celebrities, co-hosted with Regis Philbin, and covered the red carpet for the Emmys in the Arizona Cardinals and  Los Angeles when they went to the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida. As a journalist, the most beneficial part of Tram’s career is making a difference in individuals’ lives.

During her profession, Tram has earned Emmys for reporting and anchoring. She has also been appointed to several Emmys, most recently for Best Anchor in 2019.  She has also earned a Casey Award and awards from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalism. Tram hails from Saigon, Vietnam. When she was one year old, she and her family escaped on the last airplane out of Saigon before the Communists took over the country. Tram took her first steps at a refugee camp in Florida at Eglin Air Force Base. Her family finally made their way to southern California, where she was raised. On one day off, Tram enjoys camping, baking, and to decorate, and hosting parties for friends and family, especially kids’ parties.
