Prior to joining the station, he worked at WFAA in Dallas/Fort Worth as a news reporting intern from May 2018 to July 2018. While at the station, he worked together with reporters and photographers in the field. Prior to that, Holland worked at CBS Radio in Dallas, Texas as an anchor and reporter from September 2017 to July 2018. During his time there, he anchored and produced the KRLD Sunday Morning News and was the fill-in-anchor for midday and weekday afternoon drive newscasts.
Before that, Holland worked at North Texas Television starting as a multimedia journalist working from September 2015 to May 2018. In that role, he anchored live half-hour newscast and also the weather segment. He later switched his role to assistant news director and news content coordinator working from January 2017 to July 2018. Holland’s love for journalism began when he was young, as he would make his newscasts in his radio/TV studio. When he was 14 years old, he worked part-time at KGAS Radio in Carthage, where he had been working since he was in elementary school.
While in high school, Holland began anchoring the 5 p.m. newscast for the station and was also the news director. His reporting was heard throughout the Texas State Network. The Panola Watchman Newspaper voted him as Best Radio Personality and Best Reporter in Panola County in 2015 and 2016. Holland is a two-time recipient of Lone Star EMMY Student Production Awards due to his work at North Texas Television. He was named Best Anchor in 2019, by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters due to his work at KTRE and KLTV.
